Pearl Jam Rocks Air Canada Centre in Toronto September 12, 2011

Pearl Jam was in Toronto this weekend and thanks to a good friend of mine I was able to go see them. Thanks Dave! I’ve never seen Pearl Jam in concert so when the opportunity to go popped up on Monday afternoon it took all of 5 seconds to decide to go, and thank goodness I did!  The show was incredible! They played a nice mix of classics and new material to a packed house. The place was rocking and everyone was standing. The energy of the crowd was intoxicating and the music filled us all up. Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready ran up and down that stage.  McCready showed off this guitar ability with an incredible solo during Even Flow, and Eddie belted out the tunes between swigs of what looked like a bottle of Canadian Club Whisky which he shared with a few of the fans in the front row.  I especially liked it when he put on a lucha libre mask and it got a little awkward when they messed up a song which according to Eddie has only happened a handful of times in the last 20 years.  A special treat to the fans that were sitting directly behind the stage was when the band sang Last Kiss and they all turned and faced then. They went nuts and so did everyone else.

Pearl Jam puts on one hella of a show and i was glad I was there!

Thanks Dave!
